Lat week-end Amy, Monique, Sylvia & I went camping in a teepee!
It belongs to friends of ours who live in Perth which is near Ottawa.

THUSDAY 31 AUGUST 2006
This was Monique's last night in Canada. We took her into town
for a dessert to say good-bye. She has gone to live in Australia
to be nearer her boyfriend Martin who lives in Sydney.


FRIDAY 1 SEPTEMBER 2006
I decided to do some home-baking and make some
Irish scones. This was the result!!
How embarrasing! They were about 2 mm high........


SATURDAY 2 SEPTEMBER 2006
Today my brother abseiled down the side of the Europa Hotel
in Belfast (see pic below) to raise money for the RNLI.
(Royal National Lifeboat Institute)
It is high! Tim - I am proud of you!!

Here in Canada I went to see Robin Mark playing in concert
at a place 10 minutes drive from the farm.
He is a worship leader from a church in Belfast and is really
popular here.


SUNDAY 2 SEPTEMBER
The service was really good today. The presence of God was so tangiable,
I didn't want to move!
There was a BBQ lunch for the Sunday School in the basement
with games and all the church were invited so I headed down there
afterwards.
Here are some pics. We put our name down to bring chips (crisps)
- look at the size of the packet!! Everything in Canada is huge!
